Okay, I realize that this is a pretty simple game, but I love it. Basically it's just track and field. There are eight events and most of them are just some combination of rapidly hitting a and then the up arrow. You can start at any event you want and play through until you don't qualify at an event. The events are 100m dash, hurdles, long jump, triple jump, archery, javelin throw, high jump, and skeet shooting.

Positives:

It's just a fun game.

Glaring Negatives:

Not a lot of variety. Basically just hitting A as fast as you can.

Graphics and Sound: Decent

The graphics and sound aren't great, but their pretty good.

Gameplay and Controls: Good

The controls are quite simple. However, it can take a while to figure out how to seamlessly switch from hitting A to hitting the up arrow. The gameplay is smooth as well.

Features: Some

There are eight different events and you can choose which event to start from. Although the events are often similar, skeet shooting and archery are completely different from the others. Also there is a variable skill level, if you choose option B it is hardly to qualify during each event. Finally there is a 2 player mode which makes for more fun.

Fun?: Quite a bit

This is just a fun game. Try to beat a friend at each event or just try to beat your high score at the events.

Challenge: Decent

At first it's a bit too hard, but I imagine it will get to be too easy. Plus it's kind of odd that how good you do at a game is based upon how fast you can hit the buttons.

Replay: Decent

Great for a while. Once you master all the events it probably won't be much fun unless you are going up against someone else who has mastered all the events.

2 Player: Great

Of course this game was made for two player action. It's really fun during the races or the events where you switch off trying to beat the other players score.

Online Manual?: No

There does not seem to be a manual available.

Bottom Line: Yeah

This game is very common and very cheap. It's a fun game, even if only for a limited time.
