Agent K's Rankings
- Tengen Tetris – In
my opinion Tetris is best played against another player and Nintendo's
version of Tetris is missing this aspect. But Tengen has it all.
- Tetris 2 – I
realize most people consider this game to be the poor man's version
of Dr. Mario, but apparently most people are crazy. This game is
wayyy better than Dr. Mario.
- Dr. Mario –
2 player action is always great. But it's not Tetris 2
- Tetris – Finally
the almighty Tetris, no 2 player means bottom of the great Tetris
games for the NES
- Hatris – Tetris with hats!! Nice
little gimmick but nothing too special. Now Tetris with shoes, that
would have been something special.
Unranked and Unplayed:
- Yoshi's Cookie
- Yoshi
- Wario’s Woods –
We hear this one is
great.
- Pyramid – An AVE “masterpiece”.
- Stakk’m – Found only on the Maxi-15 cart.

Agent J's Rankings
- Dr. Mario – This
one isn’t quite as good as Tetris but since it has a 2-player option
I’m placing it higher.
- Tetris –
This one is awesome. It is by
far my favorite version of Tetris.
It has one major flaw though – no two-player option.
- Tengen Tetris – The
legendary game that was once the most expensive game for the
system. What differentiates
this game from other rare titles is that it is actually fun. Too bad the 2-player option on
this game is very disappointing and the overall gameplay isn’t up to
par with the official Tetris release.
- Tetris 2 –
Tetris 2 has grown on me. It
doesn’t hold a candle to Tetris but it is a very enjoyable game and
has a fun 2-player mode.
- Klax – An interesting idea and definitely
more fun than Hatris. This
one gets pretty tough pretty quickly.
- Hatris - Very rare and somewhat
fun. Always a good one to
bust out at a kegger.
