Expertise: Beat the Amazons!
Dusty Diamond Softball is one fun baseball game. You take turns picking your team from a gang of players which include Satan, a witch, a miner, and many other crazy people. The goal in 1 player mode is to take your team and beat 5 other teams which are all decent and then beat the Amazons who are insanely good. Each character has his own strengths and weaknesses so it's important to look at a faq that talks about each player and how good they are. At the bottom I includ my team, but Gamefaqs has a good faq which discusses each player in depth.
Graphics and Sound: Great
The graphics are good but not great. The characters are small but each look different which is cool.
Gameplay and Controls: Amazing
The controls are quite good. However it is tough at first, nothing odd there, to field fly balls. Just stick with it and it's not that bad. Hitting on the other hand is pretty tough. I still wouldn't claim to be a good hitter.
Features: Lots
There are quite a few features to the game. First there are loads of players to choose from for your team. Second, there are 5 fields you can play at. Third, you can play fast pitch or slow pitch. This is one loaded baseball game.
Fun?: Oh Yeah
This is a great baseball game. Pop it in and start playing with Satan on your team. What can beat that!
Challenge: Pretty Hard
The Amazons are tough to beat. They may be a team of chicks but these gals know how to play ball.
Replay: Tons
Baseball games always have lots of replay if they are good but this has an especially large amount because you can choose your team.
2 Player: Yup
I haven't got to play this with Agent J yet but you can bet it will be a race to see who can choose Diablo first!!
Bottom Line: Oh Yeah
Fun, fun, fun. You gotta get Dusty Diamond in your NES
